Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on the company's fleet of van trailers and occasional tractor vehicles in compliance with DOT and state requirements. Collaborate with department personnel to manage parts, tires, and equipment needs for heavy truck maintenance. Sign off on Driver's Vehicle Inspection reports confirming all repairs meet standards. Perform roadside repairs as needed and execute a variety of heavy vehicle maintenance tasks assigned by management. Requires a Class A CDL, certified diesel mechanic status, and three years of mechanical experience.
