Job Summary

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Conduct detailed inspections to identify existing or potential mechanical issues and utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot problems. Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate repair status with management. Follow all safety policies and complete required pre-employment testing. Afternoon shift from 2:30 AM to 11:00 PM with overtime available.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within the transportation or fleet industry
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems
  • Experience using diagnostic software and repair equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must successfully complete a Drug Test
  • Must successfully complete a DOT Physical
  • Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check
  • Must successfully complete a Criminal Background Check
