Diesel Mechanic/Technician

Job Summary

Remove components for repair or replacement such as injectors, starters, water pumps, radiators, brakes, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools and repair engine, chassis, emission, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and body control systems including suspension, steering, and wheel-end components. Safely operate welding tools to ensure equipment returns to operable condition while maintaining DOT regulations and safety standards. Work in inclement weather and physically demanding positions involving bending, stretching, and squatting for up to 10 hours per shift. Own basic tools and be available for overtime as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Available to work overtime as needed
  • At least 2 years of prior experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Knowledge in air brakes and tires, hydraulics, and electrical
  • Suspension, steering, and wheel-end components training
  • Own basic tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with concrete mixer trucks
