Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on truck and trailer equipment, including diagnosing engines, transmissions, and differentials. Replace complete assemblies, turbochargers, and fuel system components while logging repairs using Penske's diagnostic tools. Conduct road tests to identify problems and ensure vehicles remain safe for customers. Maintain a clean work area and learn new skills through the Technician Certification Program. Mentor others informally while working independently on major and minor repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Mechanic as defined as Hawaii Law
- Registered Mechanic, grandfathers in through statute
- Designated Mechanic
- Licenced Mechanic
- Experienced Technician

- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform major and minor repairs
- Ability to perform road tests to diagnose problems
- Ability to complete maintenance tasks
