Job Summary
Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units; perform preventive maintenance and component inspections, identify root causes of failures, and perform repairs. Inspect brakes, steering, and wheel bearings; ensure roadworthiness licensing. Document work orders in the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Install, replace, and repair onboard computers; use hand and power tools; perform routine maintenance including oil changes, batteries, lubrication. Train other employees; perform road-call service as needed. Requires High School Diploma/GED, 5-7 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair including refrigeration/overhauls, and 2+ years in refrigeration/heavy duty diesel engines. 2nd shift, 4-day work week, with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits; location: Manti, UT.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 5 - 7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in refrigeration &/or overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions
