Job Summary
As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will repair and maintain a variety of heavy construction equipment and diesel trucks. Responsibilities include analyzing operations, inspecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems, repairing or replacing defective parts, operating testing equipment and tools, welding and fabricating parts as needed, and complying with the company Safety Program. Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime are expected, along with opportunities for travel throughout Minnesota and the Dakotas.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year AAS degree in Diesel Technology or combination of training and experience that provides equivalent skills, knowledge and abilities
- Valid Driver’s License, preferably Class A CDL
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
