Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles while diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards, accurately document repairs, and complete work orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety procedures, and collaborate with supervisors to support fleet operations. Requires five or more years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license. Schedule runs Sunday through Thursday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM with weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must be able to access tight spaces
- Must be able to bend, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs
