Job Summary
Inspect, operate, and conduct thorough testing of engines, electrical systems, cranes, and heavy machinery to accurately diagnose malfunctions. Repair, replace, and install equipment including engines, navigational systems, pumps, hydraulics, and crane components while adhering to a detailed monthly maintenance schedule. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, assess system performance, and determine corrective actions to resolve operational problems. Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Travel to jobsites as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with heavy equipment, PMs (Preventive Maintenance), and repair
- Willingness to travel if needed
- Truck ASE certificate
- Ability to work on a variety of equipment
- Ability to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, manuals, etc.
- Ability to complete tasks and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Steel toe boots are required
- Travel to jobsites is required
Desired Qualifications
- Welding skills are preferred
- CDL A is a plus
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints is a plus
