Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel trucks and equipment while estimating time and material costs. Respond to emergency service calls, perform safety checks, and complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards and assist senior mechanics on project work. Perform duties involving frequent lifting, pushing, and standing in both indoor shop and outdoor conditions, often exposed to dirt, odors, and weather extremes. Work Monday through Friday starting at 3:00 pm at a Louisville, KY repair shop, supporting maintenance for over 20 million customers across the USA.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
