Job Summary
Seeking a Diesel Mechanic for repair and maintenance of semi-trucks and diesel vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnostic tests, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Requires strong mechanical skills, valid driver's license, and preferred ASE certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred)
- Aptitude for mathematics and science
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
- Good IT and diagnostic skills
- Physically fit and able to lift 100-150 pounds or more
- Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
- Attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal communication and written skills
- Must own tools for the trade
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Diesel Certification (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Cummins and Freightliner diagnostic systems
