Diesel Mechanic / Rolling stock Mechanic

Analyze problems and interpret technical information to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, trucks, and trailers. Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and validate work, ensuring safety by following all policies and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Complete assigned work orders within allotted time while maintaining complete records using software, work orders, and detailed logs. Requires two or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience, one year of diesel engine repair, and recognized diesel mechanic certifications.
