Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day equipment maintenance on the fleet, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Perform tasks such as maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies, and execute welding depending on location. Diagnose and repair diesel engines with a focus on AC and electrical systems while handling lifts up to 50 lbs. Own and utilize necessary tools to complete these duties. Requires Class A CDL and experience with Cummins and Detroit engines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
- Class A CDL holder
- Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
