Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day equipment maintenance on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts, including preventative maintenance, minor to major repairs, trailer upkeep, overhead doors, lift gates, and welding. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, specifically Cummins and Detroit models, while managing AC and electrical systems. Perform work orders using Cetaris and handle major repairs with the ability to lift 50lbs. Requires 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, own tools, and knowledge of preventive maintenance. Full-time 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 11:30pm at our Canton, MA Service Center.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
