Job Summary
As a Diesel Mechanic at R+L Carriers, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance of the fleet, including preventative maintenance and repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potential forklift repairs. Key responsibilities include handling major repairs and performing preventative maintenance, with a strong focus on AC and electrical systems. A minimum of 2 years of diesel mechanic experience is preferred, alongside proficiency in using Cetaris for work orders and a Class A CDL. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and possession of own tools.
Required Qualifications

- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris for work orders
- Class A CDL holder
- Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
