Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day equipment maintenance on the fleet, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Perform tasks such as maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies, with welding depending on location. Handle major repairs on diesel engines, AC systems, and electrical components while lifting 50lbs and using your own tools. Work full-time Monday through Friday across various shifts at the West Sacramento, CA Service Center.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- Class A CDL holder
- Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
