Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic role performs inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on trucks and equipment; estimating time and material costs; operating within Standard Labor Repair Times; responding to service calls; conducting safety checks and completing paperwork; assisting senior mechanics and reviewing or completing repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports; maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to OSHA standards; located in a repair/maintenance shop in Wisconsin Rapids, with stable hours and benefits including healthcare, tool/boot allowances, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
