Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel equipment and CNG trucks. Estimate time and material costs, perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times, and respond to emergency service calls. Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean work area compliant with OSHA standards. Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times, and assist senior mechanics with project work. Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
