Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and scheduled services on heavy-duty trucks. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine performance issues using advanced diagnostic software and tools. Repair and replace components such as engines, fuel systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Conduct DOT inspections and comprehensive vehicle safety checks, then test vehicles to verify repairs. Maintain accurate service records and strictly follow company safety procedures. Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs efficiently while keeping the work area clean and organized. Work full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment and software
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and drive-train components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license
