Job Summary
310T Diesel Mechanic responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to determine required or recommended repairs; accurately diagnose malfunctions and repair engine, mechanical and electrical systems; verify serviceability and quality of repairs; communicate with service advisor and/or dispatcher; assist in writing work orders; maintain inventory and shop cleanliness; adhere to timekeeping, ethics, confidentiality, and training requirements; participate in onboarding and company programs; and contribute to a safe, professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent GED
- Must possess Provincial License such as Red Seal/310T. Current and in good standing with membership/registration with respective Government Agencies
- Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses preferred
