Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic needed to diagnose, repair and maintain portable generators. Responsibilities include field service repairs, refueling, delivering and picking up portable generators, providing technical support, and some travel as needed. Must troubleshoot and repair generator fleet, coordinate with operations managers, order parts, operate a forklift, assist field operations, and drive a company vehicle. On-call rotation once approved. Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines; generator experience is a plus. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams; working knowledge of Isuzu, Cat, Cummins, Doosan, MQ, MMD, Volvo, and John Deere engines and generators is a plus. Proficient with computer software to troubleshoot engine and generator controls; must be able to lift 50 lbs. Total estimated compensation: $80,080 - $102,960.
