Job Summary
Perform thorough preventative maintenance inspections and complete scheduled operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation. Execute complex engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs while interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Conduct emergency roadside services, diagnose mechanical defects, and document all repairs on work orders. Maintain tools and workplaces to ensure neat and orderly conditions. On occasion, drive vans, buses, and vehicles for road tests. Emergency conditions may require on-call service calls, extended hours, or weekend flexibility. Schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ year(s) experience as diesel mechanic or mechanic
- Accreditation from a school or certification program
- Complete all training requirements
- Pre-employment background checks
- Must be able to pass a background check
