Job Summary
Conduct daily walk-downs on batch plant equipment using checklists and participate in pre-plan meetings. Develop work permits, lockout plans, service requests, and material orders while reading electrical schematics and blueprints to perform repairs, installs, and replacements on mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, implementing operating procedures to produce compliant concrete per ASTM and NRMCA requirements. Direct or train less experienced employees and inform management of issues with proposed solutions. Requires 100% travel for mobile batch plants.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- multiple years' experience in Batch Plant Operations
- Documented skills in at least two of the following areas: E&I, Mechanical Maintenance, Rigging, and PLC/Controls
- Experience repairing, installing, dismantling and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical equipment/instrument and controls
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- basic background knowledge in electrical, mechanical, instrument and controls
- 100% travel
