Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and related components; diagnose mechanical issues and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems; conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment; use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex engine and hydraulic issues; keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work; communicate with supervisors and team members about repair status; assist with other duties including occasional driving of company vehicles; travel between two office locations (Rocky Hill, CT and Haverhill, MA).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal diesel mechanic training program preferred
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
