Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic needed for a San Diego-based construction company. Responsibilities include routine lube/oil services, safety and reliability inspections, fluid servicing, tire maintenance and installation, minor repairs and alignments, general shop maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Requires a valid driver’s license with insurable driving record, basic mechanical aptitude, at least 1 year related experience or training, and a DOT knowledge. Onsite, Monday–Friday schedule 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; benefits include uniforms/tools, paid time off, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive health plans.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Basic mechanical understanding and aptitude.
- Prior experience a major plus
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least 1 (one) year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Class "C" Driver’s License
- DOT Compliance knowledge.
