Job Summary
Diagnose and repair diesel equipment onsite at client locations, handling breakdowns, repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics on agricultural, construction, and medium-to-heavy-duty trucks. Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance while communicating clearly with customers regarding issues and recommendations. Maintain accurate service records, represent the company professionally, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. This independent role supports a premier fleet maintenance partner in Woodbury Heights, NJ, offering opportunities for advancement within a team that values its mechanics. Full-time schedule Monday through Friday with occasional local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Diesel Mechanic experience
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently
- Valid driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Comfortable meeting clients onsite or at designated service locations
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work individually
