Job Summary
Diesel Technician/Mechanic role diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy‐duty diesel trucks. Use advanced diagnostics (Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, OEM software), perform preventive maintenance, repair/replace engines, transmissions, differentials, and turbos, complete work orders for warranty/compliance, and communicate repairs to customers. Must read schematics/manuals and have strong troubleshooting skills; welding/fabrication and a CDL (preferred) are advantageous. Work environment includes a shop setting with safety and organization expectations; physical duties include lifting up to 75 lbs and outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
