Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic III responsible for repairing and maintaining Airline Ground Service Equipment (GSE) including engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, brakes, and ancillary components. Responsibilities include servicing equipment, logging work and equipment numbers, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, testing performance, and complying with safety procedures. Must have 6 years of verified experience, own tools, valid driver’s license, and be eligible to work in the United States. FAA/TSA/Port Authority/U.S. Customs credentials may be required. Shift flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays is expected. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- 6 years of verified experience
- Must provide their own tools and toolbox
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs)
