Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on company-owned tractors and tanker trailers. Document work electronically on a computer-based system and conduct road repairs as needed. Execute electrical and electronic repairs on tractors and trailers, with gas and electrical welding experience preferred. Maintain a strong commitment to safety while working as a self-starter within the Decatur, AL facility team. On-call rotation occurs every three to four weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/equivalent
- 1-3 years vehicle maintenance experience
- Mechanical background
- above average computer experience/skills
- Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
- Troubleshooting and repair experience
- Energetic
