Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other components of heavy trucks and trailers using hand tools, power tools, welders, and testing equipment. Determine necessary repairs to meet customer expectations, rebuild engines, and fix transmissions, drivelines, and differentials. Perform preventative maintenance on engine accessory components and complete all associated forms, timecards, and parts requests. Maintain clean work areas, wear proper personal protective equipment, and stay current with technical literature. Represent Quality Truck Care Center professionally in all customer and coworker interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks safely
- Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work
Desired Qualifications
- CDL
- Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair
