Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic role performing diagnosis and repair of heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment, including heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles. Responsible for maintaining safety, completing reports and parts orders, planning repairs, training new employees, using diagnostic software, and adhering to company policies while leveraging a toolbox of hand/power tools; progressive responsibilities include coordinating repair schedules and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical diploma desired
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a diesel mechanic
- Experience using diagnostic software a plus
- Must be computer literate; ability to learn software systems
