Job Summary
Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks. Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep fleet vehicles operating safely and reliably. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is ready for daily operation. This role includes a 6am-4pm Monday through Friday schedule with overtime available after 40 hours. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, with additional compensation based on experience and certifications.
