Job Summary
Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy-duty diesel trucks, including CNG, gas, and electrically operated equipment. Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner while procuring necessary parts and completing daily reports and work orders. Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Assist in training new employees and maintain knowledge of latest technology through technical manuals and seminars. Maintain tools for heavy and hydraulic equipment maintenance. Stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 100 pounds in environments with loud noise and varying weather.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Must meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to company standards
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Must possess, provide, and maintain the tools necessary for heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance
- Must be computer literate and willing to be trained on new software systems
- Ability to understand and use repair and parts manuals written in English
- Ability to operate all vehicles and equipment necessary for the job
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date
