Job Summary
Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment, including rolling stock, while maintaining and rebuilding vehicles to ensure safe operation. Plan and schedule repairs in M5 planner, procure parts, and complete daily work orders and administrative reporting. Utilize diagnostic software and technical manuals to troubleshoot diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated machinery, maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all safety regulations. Assist in training new employees and stay current with the latest technology through technical seminars. This 2nd or 3rd shift position focuses on environmental services, excluding garbage trucks, requiring one year of diesel mechanic experience and valid work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a diesel mechanic
- Must be computer literate

Desired Qualifications
- Experience using diagnostic software a plus
- Experience on Vacuum trucks, Hydrovac trucks, Wet Vac trucks a plus
