Job Summary
Operate, repair, rebuild, and perform maintenance on heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment, including rolling stock, to ensure safe operation. Conduct daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks. Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components. Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation. Shift runs 1pm-1130pm M-F with overtime after 40 hours and a $3 shift differential.
