Job Summary

Diagnose heavy-duty diesel trucks, CNG rigs, and specialized equipment using top-tier software and mechanical intuition. Perform preventative maintenance, engine repairs, and hydraulic fixes while utilizing an arsenal of hand and power tools in a clean, organized workspace. Plan repairs in the M5 system, order parts, and mentor newer team members. Requires at least one year of diesel mechanic experience, own tools, and computer literacy. Schedule keeps you local in Weldon/Halifax, NC; no visa sponsorship provided. Join a crew supporting community waste and recycling operations.

Required Qualifications

  • at least one (1) year of solid experience working as a diesel mechanic
  • high school diploma/GED
  • computer literate enough to master our software systems
  • You work safely
  • communicate well with the team
  • You'll be lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 pounds
  • working in a loud, high-energy shop environment
  • dealing with hot, cold, and everything-in-between North Carolina weather
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
  • provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date
