Job Summary
Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy-duty diesel trucks, including CNG, gas, and electrically operated equipment. Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner while procuring necessary parts and completing daily reports and work orders. Maintain safe working conditions by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist in training new employees and maintain working knowledge of the latest technology through technical manuals and seminars. Stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 100 pounds in an environment with frequent noise and vibration. Requires one year of diesel mechanic experience, high school diploma, and valid work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Must meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to company standards
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Must possess, provide, and maintain the tools necessary for heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to understand and use repair and parts manuals written in English
- Ability to operate all vehicles and equipment necessary for the job
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date
