Job Summary
Operate, repair, rebuild, and perform maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure safe operation. Conduct daily inspections, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot problems on diesel refuse trucks, including hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, and PTO systems. Complete repairs and preventative maintenance to keep fleet vehicles ready for daily service. Starting pay is $27-$37 with a $2 shift differential, followed by benefits including 15 days PTO, tool allowance, and health coverage after 60 days. Shifts run 1pm-12am M-F with overtime after 40 hours.
