Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic sought to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel engines and related components with a focus on Cummins engines and DEF systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting engine, electrical, and emissions systems; servicing DEF and aftertreatment systems; completing preventative maintenance and inspections; accurately documenting work and parts used; and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, independent work ethic, and valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (journeyman level preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Cummins engines and diesel systems
- Experience working with DEF and emissions systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, if applicable)
- OEM or ASE certifications (preferred)
- Experience with diagnostic software and tools
