Job Summary
Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing fleet equipment (tractor and trailer), performing preventative maintenance, completing complex work orders with detailed condition/cause/correction descriptions and warranty returns, and ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance. Responsibilities include identifying unsafe conditions, informing management of tool shortages, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and adhering to company policies. Requires experience with heavy-duty diesel systems or related technical certification and preferred CDL license; the role emphasizes safety, diagnostic skills, and warranty processes. Required Qualifications
- Valid state issued CDL driver's license preferred
- Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with specialty in Diesel
