Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles, including automotive, medium, and heavy-duty trucks for Fire and Rescue divisions. Perform skilled maintenance on small gas engines and associated equipment. Requires a valid Class CDL B with air brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year, plus knowledge of diesel engines and up-to-date vehicle maintenance methods. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 3:30, offering a starting rate of $25-35 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Self-starter with positive can-do attitude
- Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred
- Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred
- ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus
