Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel garbage trucks and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues while inspecting vehicles for safety concerns and DOT compliance. Complete accurate maintenance and repair records for all fleet vehicles and communicate repair status with dispatch and operations teams. Work in a team environment to ensure fleet uptime and superior service. Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with additional hours possible.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of diesel maintenance experience
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical issues
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- At least a year of diesel maintenance experience
