Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience or training in diesel mechanic roles
- Certified in air brake adjustment
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and any necessary FAA/Airport required identification or authorizations
- Commercial license preferred (Class A or B)
- Airport security clearance process for their assigned location (TSA and 49 CFR §1542.209) and airport-issued ID (e.g., SIDA, AOA) per local authority regulations
- Must be capable of lifting 75 pounds or more and able to work in environments with chemicals, dust, and noise
- Knowledge of airport Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and airport operations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to work varying shifts, including weekends
