Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment

Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment. Travel to customer job sites as needed for repairs while maintaining service vehicle standards, and assist in training lower-level technicians. Maintain daily electronic documentation of work orders and upsell complex equipment to customers during interactions. Handle pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as assigned. This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and five years of experience repairing tools and construction equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment
- Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Superior customer service

- Verbal/written communication skills
