Job Summary
Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered tractors and trailers, performing preventive maintenance, engine and brake repair, electrical troubleshooting, and DOT inspections. Ensure accurate documentation for all fleet activities while supporting safe, reliable deliveries to customers. Work within a team-focused Skilled Labor department that values innovation, safety, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Mechanic Class B Technician certification
- Experience performing inspections on diesel-powered tractors and trailers
- Experience performing diagnostics on diesel-powered tractors and trailers
- Experience performing repairs on diesel-powered tractors and trailers
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance for diesel engines
- Knowledge of brake repair for diesel engines
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems in diesel vehicles
- Experience conducting DOT inspections
- Ability to perform accurate documentation
