Job Summary
Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered tractors and trailers, including preventive maintenance, engine and brake repair, electrical troubleshooting, and DOT inspections. Perform accurate documentation for all fleet activities to ensure safe, reliable deliveries. Work within the Skilled Labor department supporting the transportation and logistics fleet, collaborating in a team-focused culture that prioritizes safety and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Mechanic Class B Technician certification
- Experience with diesel-powered tractors and trailers
- Ability to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance
- Skills in engine and brake repair
- Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with DOT inspections
- Ability to perform accurate documentation
