Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, including inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings. Diagnose basic failures, perform repairs, and install or replace onboard computers. Execute routine tasks such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment using hand and power tools. Complete thorough documentation for work orders through the online Enterprise Asset Management system and ensure all equipment maintains required licensing and registration. Conduct road call services as needed to support fleet operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
