Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units, including diagnosing root causes of failures and executing repairs. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings while installing, replacing, and repairing onboard computers. Complete thorough documentation for work orders through the online Enterprise Asset Management system and ensure all equipment meets licensing and registration standards. Road call services are performed as needed. This role supports America's food distribution system with a 4-day work week (Thursday–Saturday and Wednesday) and includes Day 1 health benefits, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and quarterly safety incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
