Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and onboard computers while ensuring all equipment meets licensing and registration standards before road use. Document all work orders and parts usage through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Complete routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand and power tools. Provide road call services as needed to support the food distribution system. Requires 2+ years of experience with diesel equipment, air brakes, and computerized diagnostics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
