Diesel Mechanic Class B Technician (3-4 Day Work Week)

Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and standard component inspections on medium to heavy-duty diesel fleet equipment including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. Diagnose root causes of basic failures and execute necessary repairs while ensuring all equipment maintains required licensing and registration for roadworthiness. Complete thorough documentation for work orders and parts usage through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Install, replace, and repair onboard computers, and inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical components. Perform routine tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand and power tools. Road call services are performed as needed.
