Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units, including root cause analysis for basic failures and repairs. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings, while installing, replacing, and repairing onboard computers. Execute routine tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand, power, and precision tools. Complete thorough documentation of all work orders and parts usage through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Ensure equipment maintains required licensing and registration before road deployment. Road call services are performed as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
- Must be available for Thursday – Saturday 5:30 pm – 5:30 am and Wednesday 11:30 pm - 5:30 am
- Must be available for Day 1 of Employment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
